The swiss chard is cleaned, placed on baking trays and cooked in a steam oven. The vegetables are NOT boiled in water, to ensure they maintain their organoleptic qualities and retain optimum nutritional values. Once cooked, the product is packaged in a controlled atmosphere. The oven cooking method, without boiling in water, maintains nutritional values intact (minerals, vitamins and fibre) ensuring a superior quality level.
